Rain/Winter Songs

It's raining and it's cold. Here are some songs that give me that feeling.

Grizzly Bear - "Easier"

This song always reminds me of my audition on the east coast and coming down on that airplane, looking at the entire world covered in snow. I don't think I like Grizzly Bear's newer album as much as I liked this one. Maybe that's just because Barnes and Noble played the new one for three months straight.

Led Zeppelin - "The Rain Song"

How could this song not be on this list? What are you stupid? Geez...

Fever Ray - "Keep The Streets Empty For Me"

Reminds me of the ARCTIC THUNDRAH! Probably my favorite song on the album.

Hum - "Why I like The Robbins"

Nice bass groove, and grungy enough to remind me of the rain.

Kupek - "I-90 / How Many Miles To You?"

Nirvana - "Come As You Are"

Abso-friggin-luteley is this song on the list. DUH.

Loney Dear - "Like, half of their songs. Seriously."

This is "I Was Only Going Out". Kinda cute lil indie song.

Pelican - "Aurora Borealis"

Another band that could have half their songs on the list. Live version.

Mountain Goats - "1 John 4:16"

A great rain song, especially when you listen to the lyrics.

Radiohead - "Faust Arp"

Not much to say, it's a beautiful lil song.

Bomb The Music Industry! - "Get Warmer"

Whole different perspective on bein' cold, eh?

Spoon - Vittorio E.

Nice way to end the night, with your windows opaque from rain.

G'night
- Daniel
